Josiah's doing great without his G-tube! We've had several conversations about belly buttons the past couple weeks. Allison thinks her belly button is going to close up.
Josiah got his two buttons confused a couple days ago and asked which one was which. I told him only some people have a G-tube, but everyone has a belly button from when they came out the mommy's tummy. At this point Josiah tells me, "...and I in you tummy and I say 'Get me out of here!'"
Josiah was also helping me dig in the garden this week, and we found a worm. I asked Josiah what he wanted to name his worm. I expected something like 'Slimy' or 'Wormy,' but no, he named the worm after himself. Josiah Hackett Worm. Naturally, Josiah Hackett Worm ended up on my shoulder and my hat without my consent.
What a boy.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear Josiah is well..even if he is playing with Josiah Hackett Worm :) Hurricane Sandy is heating VA Beach at the moment, so there will be plenty of worms outside in the coming days! I am praying for a wonderful birthday, a Happy Halloween, and a fantastic week for all of you!
