So Overdue
This post is my lame attempt to catch you up. BUT I'm trying to make it up to you by including photos.
In a way, the lack of posts lately is a good thing. I feel like we have reentered life, in that, we can see our friends and family whenever we want. It is so wonderful to not have to miss playdates and preschool. I think the 'voice' in which we write our posts has changed along with the frequency.
This is no longer our main form of communication. We have time and energy to just spend time with friends and share our struggles and blessings with many of you in person. How our spirits missed that during treatment! I still feel very weak spiritually, but the Lord restores and redeems.
Josiah is doing awesome. He is growing, talking, running (!), and working on learning to ride a trike! We continue to see PT, OT, speech therapy every week. Josiah now knows Wednesday is 'St Jude day' then we go to 'Fletcher's house' to meet with Redeemer friends. Needless to say, Wednesday is his favorite day of the week.
He had an EEG just to check on things last week. He had one little seizure a couple weeks ago, but no more since then. We haven't gotten any report from that yet. Generally it's non-news: He's having seizure activity and we don't know why. Not really anxious about that.
Josiah also had a routine eye appointment Monday. He is a bit farsighted and the left eye seems a bit slower to respond. We'll go back in a month or two to check on that again. Dr Hoen thinks his left eye was just worn out from the whole examination. Better safe than miss a possible sign of tumor growth. That's the saying, right?

Josiah thought the birthday cake figure on the eye chart looked more like a 'fire pit' :D. They gave him credit, ha ha!
Allison is no longer a baby. She is 19 whole months old. We have already started the fits and 'NO's' of two-dom. She is her own little woman, and Josiah loves getting a laugh out of her. They play pretty well together for the most part. As long as big brother doesn't get bossy she's okay with hanging out with him.
The end of April is our next scan, Lord willing. I promise I will update again before then.

Too Little, Too Late
I do apologize for the lack of updates this new year.
How has it been almost two months already?! Josiah continues to grow and learn new things every day-- not joking. He daily surprises me with perfectly formed sentences and recognition of new colors and letters.
I feel like all four of us have been changing so much there's almost too much to share.
So I will say this:
The Lord continues to be faithful to us. We are thankful for our children and our dear friends who continue to encourage us and push us forward.
I will do my very very best to share details of the past couple months this coming week.
Again, my apologies!!
